GOOD WORDS MATTER

"No matter how long you have traveled in the wrong direction you can always turn around."

Definitely a truism!

I HAVEN'T BEEN POSTING OUT OF RESPECT

FOR THE TERRORIST TRAGEDIES. Prayers to those who lost their lives for no reason whatsoever and to their families.

"The same boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It's about what you are made of and not the circumstances."

—author unknown

This is true up to a point. The circumstances sometimes rule as we have seen in Paris and Mali. But on that train from Brussels to France our three Americans showed what they were made of.

THE TEAM FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE DOLPHINS

has returned with a total lack of energy let alone passion, with consistent ineptitude at just about every position, and a talent not worth their paychecks.

My October 18th blog was overly exuberant and naive.

I guess even an excellent coach is limited by the players he is coaching.

I think several overpaid players owe the owner a refund.

I think I will stick to my type of coaching cause I sure ain't no sports pundit!

SAW THIS ON THE BOOK TODAY

Which book? Face of course. Really a perfect name though I have had some people call it Fakebook!

"You are not really rich until you have something money can't buy."

So very true.

THERE IS HEAVY AND THERE IS LITE

The Dolphins got creamed despite their enthusiastic coach. The Mets got creamed as well. But that is the lite.

At the end of the day who really cares about sports winnings, when we have migrants drowning or being beaten, good people killed for no reason, a plane full of Russian people downed, a world in total turmoil, and with a ridiculous political debate about the lite. Will all of the aholes please disappear and be replaced with serious presidential candidates.

I so try to b hopeful and optimistic, but there are days when that just doesn't work. Today is one of those days.

Let's hope tomorrow will be better.

Bye for now,
Bill
