ON A SOMBER BUT LIGHTER NOTE

Theodore Bikel lived to 91 before he passed last week. I always thought of him as a folk singer which he was, ( as he sung in 21 languages) but he was also an actor staring in "Sound of Music," and "Fiddler on the Roof," among many other stage and movie productions. He was also a political activist supporting the Democratic Party, human rights causes, and Israel. An all around good guy who lived a long life with many fulfilling "pride bank" deposits.

We also lost Jack Carter last week, also in his 90s, a funny funny comedian from back in the day.

Finally, Tom Moore died at 86. Whom you ask is Mr. Moore? He was the cartoonist who brought to life  Archie, Veronica, Jughead, Betty, Reggie and the gang—the friends of my youth.

May they all rest in the peace they so deservedly earned by entertaining us.

Bye for Now,

Bill
