The UGLY The BAD and the GOOD

UGLY: Apropos of my last post there have been 90 shootings on US College campuses since the 1990s and 74 school shootings since Sandy Hook in 2012. Clearly these numbers are higher now. Crazy—making by crazy people.

Both sad and scary. Back in the day the majority of parental worries were that their kid would misplace their peanut butter and jelly lunch sandwich. Now it is whether peanut butter can stop a bullet. OMG!

BAD: Finally justice has been served and John Goodman, the wealthy one, was convicted for a second time of a DUI killing of the young man who had just graduated from college several years ago. Sentenced once again to 16 years and so far denied his usual leisurely stay at home luxury. It's about time, but time will tell! Those with unlimited wealth are favored by the scales of justice.

GOOD: This joke from Jimmy Fallon:

"After signing a contract for $325 million this week, Marlins player Giancarlo Stanton celebrated with a $20,000 bottle of Champagne. So let the road to inexplicable bankruptcy begin!"

Bye for Now,

Bill
