MY SINCERE APOLOGIES

for my previous blog.

When i began this adventure several years ago my intent was to inspire and offer hope and optimism—not dismal foreboding of catastrophe.

Back then all we were dealing with were financial crises, which by comparison seem small today. Markets eventually come back—those who are part of body counts and those in body bags don't!

I guess what I am realizing is that it is not easy, not easy at all, to be positive and optimistic in a world torn by strife in so many places.

The good news is that America, despite its blemishes and questionable leadership in both parties, is still strong and free and beautiful. Let us hold onto the idea that we are most fortunate to live here, while we mourn for those less fortunate who are at war or innocent victims of others' aggressions.

We are, all things considered, very lucky and that is something for which to be thankful and hopeful.

Bye for Now,

bill
