I TRY HARD NOT TO BE JUDGEMENTAL

I was relieved just slightly to learn that 11 crew members of the ill-fated South Korean ferry were arrested, until I asked myself WTF happened that allowed them to survive and the 100's of children not to?

This story and tragedy is not only about too heavy a load, and too many added passenger cabins, or even a turn taken too quickly by an inexperienced third mate—it is about the people in charge abandoning their responsibilities to save themselves. No punishment will be sufficient, except perhaps the shame with which they will have to live.

They should all be forced to have a tattoo of the letter C placed on their foreheads—cowards to the core!

So much for not being judgmental!

Bye for Now,
Bill
