AFTER YESTERDAY'S BLOG NOW THE QUESTION IS

What should GM say?

It is sad really when you learn that a company of that stature and history took 10 years to own and address flaws they knew about. Reminds me of the tobacco companies who turned a blind eye to the hazards of smoking when they knew darn well those hazards that were well documented years ago.

I hope GM doesn't try to use their bankruptcy to beat out the victim's families or the millions they save will cost them billions in bad press and bad will. While they may not have a technical responsibility, they have a moral one. Let's hope they own up to that.

And let's hope other bigger than life companies learn from these less than well managed tragedies.

Bye for Now,

Bill
