I WAS AT THE BEACH MOST OF THE DAY TODAY

I wondered how the day could start out so beautifully with bright sunny blue skies and conclude so unpleasantly with grim clouds and blustery winds. Then I decided that was a metaphor for life itself.

We all start out as cute and cuddly kids and end as wrinkled, and depending on how long we live decrepit, demented, and back in diapers. Then I thought about how our hard work and successes can be sustained or can morph into unhappy scenarios. Then, how marriages built of love can fade over time into hurt and hate. Then the toll of what I call emotional cess can topple our dams and make a mess.

Then I thought that even a bad conclusion of the day at the beach is so much better than I first thought. It is still a peaceful and memorizing scene.

Hope your conclusion is as bright as your arrival. If not, what can you do to make it better? We can't control the weather, but can better control our personal conclusion. I sincerely hope you do.

Bye for now,

Bill
