A WALK IN THE PARK REVISITED

This morning on my walk, I heard the great Platters song of old "The Great Pretender." It made me think of all the phonies, liars, cheats and the like that roam our streets and take advantage of innocent people.
Now here this: Be on red alert! They are smooth, swift, cunning, likeable, but very dishonest. Check people out thoroughly. In today's world it is not so hard to do.
But the con men and women of the world have a way of razzle dazzling us that encourages us to by pass that due diligence vetting process.
The old caveat is still true, "Let the buyer be ware." As my mom used to say, "Figures don't lie, but liars can figure!" All the more reason for us all to do our homework.

Bye for Now,

Bill
