WHETHER U CARE ABOUT AN EVENT OR NOT

I am happy to see that the London games are going peacefully along. Hats off to London for their wise management of these games. Hats on for Mitt who once again stepped in shit with his offhanded comments. The more he tries to make himself look good, the more he fails and disappoints!

WE NEED A PRESIDENT

that can do us proud. All who meet that expectation are welcome to apply. Unfortunately, it never seems to happen. Time after time we get to choose from the lesser of evils. SUCKS really!

I FINALLY REMEMBERED

what I wanted to blog about that day in the park. I am tired of getting taken by auto mechanics. In my next life I am coming back as certified auto literate. We need to know as much as they do, in order to not be duped.

My sense is that I go in for an oil change and get taken for a ride! This entails them looking for whatever they can find that needs work, even if that is a long way off.

THE FUNNY SIDE OF MARRIAGE

Marriages don't last. When i meet a guy, the first question i ask myself: Is this the man i want my children to spend their weekends with?

—Rita Rudner

"I am" is reportedly the shortest sentence in the English language. Could it be that "I do" is the longest sentence?

Courtesy is the shortest distance between two people.

—Abigail Van Buren

Combine these ideas and you will make many new friends.

MIND OVER MATTER HELPS IRRITANTS NOT MATTER

Having met and spoken to many who have been to Cancerville, especially my daughter, has helped me shift my relativity scale away from overreacting.

Sure, prepping for a colonoscopy, losing something important, having your car breakdown, being taken by a mechanic, etc. is undeniably annoying. But it "ain't nothin'" compared to so many hard to swallow things in life and in Cancerville.

Everything is truly relative and most things are a 3-4 on a 10 point scale. Try to see them like that, rather than making them into 9's and 10's.
