are exploding all around my house and on the TV as well.

I have never been a big fireworks fan. After three or four views they all kinda look the same, and how many times can you say oooh or ahhh with your neck cranked toward the sky.

But, the meaning of July 4th should never go unrecognized. It is about feeling grateful for living in the greatest country in the world bar none. Hold aside politics which are often silly, economic shifts which are often difficult but surmountable, failures of character which seem to be part of the landscape, and intermittent crises which are just part of life.

Focus on the progress we have made since the founding fathers (and mothers) gave birth to a new nation with liberty and justice for all. It is a beautiful thing that deserves our respect and appreciation. Today marks the US of A positioned to continue to play a key role in guiding the way of the world. I am proud to be an American and always will be. I hope you are too.

Bye For Now,
