I HAVE BEEN DOWNRIGHT LAZY

and I deserve to be after the grueling five months of editing that has finally birthed a book. And I am not really being lazy as I have been working on the next book.

But here are a few thoughts for you as we head into 2012:

Every New Year offers an opportunity to clear the slate of all the miscues, problems, traumas, and even tragedies and start anew.
Every New Year offers an opportunity to reset those resolutions from last year that slipped by you and/or establish new ones.
Every New Year offers a chance to strengthen family ties and tie a ribbon around those you love.
Every New Year offers opportunities to reach out to old friends or to make some new ones.
Every New Year brings with it hope for health, success, and enjoyment.  AND

Every New Year offers you weeks of writing last year (2011) on your checks and other important papers!

A healthy New Year to all.

Bye for Now,

Bill

A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, CHANUKAH, AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

I listen to Xmas music all year long on my Iphone. Why, you ask? Because it is fun stuff filled with warmth, love, and kindnesses. White Xmas and Frosty in July in Ft. Lauderdale cools me down while I walk in the park. Oh Christmas Tree brings up lovely images in my mind's eye of the beautiful tree at the White House, Rockefeller Center in NYC, and my grand-kid's house. And so forth. It's not about the gifts!

This is really good, especially for a Jewish guy. Deck the Halls all year round and keep yourself in happier space. Enjoy tonight and tomorrow and know that you can return to it every day of the year— celebrate whenever you can.

I did once see Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, and was really happy for both of them. It was a gift they gave each other. Please keep it to yourself. Mums the word re my mum!

Remember, it is a marshmallow world—at least some of the time.

I GUESS IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN TRUE

"Blessed are the young, for they shall inherit the national debt."

—Herbert Hoover

Sad really— especially given how high it is these days. Feels like we are on a merry-go-round! Let us hope that next year will be better.

PLEASED TO REPORT

that my book, "How to Cope Better When Someone You Love Has Cancer" has been completed. Within a couple of weeks it will be available at cancerville.com, amazon.com, kindle.com and several other sources.

The second one, "How to Cope Better When You Have Cancer" is 90+% completed and should be available in the Spring.

Frankly, I hope you never need to read my books, but if you do I am confident they will be of help.

TAKING A BREAK

I am taking some time off from the blog to concentrate on relaxing and having some fun. We are rewarding ourselves for a job well done—the book that is.

As we know, time flies whether you are having fun or not so you better have some fun. That is my Rx for you and for me.

Will be back up on 12/24/11.

Meanwhile there are 100's of blogs for you to read from the past. Please check them out as there will be a test Christmas morning. Ho Ho Ho!

Be well and happy.

Bill

HAPPY TO REPORT

That the last set of edits are in the works and the book, "How to Cope Better When Someone You Love Has Cancer" will be available in early January.

Je suis finis!

Working on the next book—"How to Cope Better When You Have Cancer" and just finished the first draft. But as we have learned editing can be a bitch!

May you never need to read either one!

I am writing two books I hope no one ever needs to read. The sad truth, however, is that every year 1.5 million people in America are diagnosed with cancer. My books will help many, sad to say.

Bye For Now,

Bill

ps hope to have the second book out by March—but don't hold your breath as editing is one fun (not) time.
