I have spoken before about how driving and cell phone and texting do not make for healthy and safe bedfellows. I am shocked that Florida, unlike many other cities, have not passed abuse laws in this regard. Even St. Thomas, V.I.—a  place hardly known for progress— has laws against talking on the phone and driving.

As if to prove the point I read that in the United Arab Emirates there was a 40% decrease in traffic accidents in the city of Abu Dhabi during a recent three-day worldwide Blackberry outage, which should provoke outrage, beyond just mine.

Bye For Now,
