IN MY RANDOM WANDERINGS AROUND THE PLANET

I ask people, "How are you doing?" That despite my Mom teaching me not to talk to strangers!

More and more the response is, "Hanging in there."  Now hanging in is better than hanging it up or hanging oneself, BUT it is not a strong response. It is a sign of these complicated and confusing times. Many are struggling.

If you use that term I encourage you to change it to, "Doing just fine, thank you."  Self-fulfilling prophecy is still alive and well. The more we believe in ourselves and our futures, the more those beliefs translate into doing better and better.

Hang in, hang out, and hang strong. Believe that there are better times coming. They usually do.

Bye For Now,

Bill
