WHAT I BROUGHT BACK FROM DOWNUNDER

When I was in Australia I discovered a lovely phrase that they frequently use. They say, "No worries" or sometimes "No worries, Mate. They use it instead of "your welcome" or when you ask a question, order a meal or apologize for a misunderstanding.

Beyond their charming accents, there is something supportive, reassuring and calming about this phrase. It induces a sense of peacefulness that lingers beyond the moment.

I think we should introduce this phrase into our culture, especially at a time when worries abound.Perhaps it would help calm us down.

But, if you don't like the ides, no worries mate.

Bye For Now,

Bill
