SCORE AN OUNCE FOR YOUR SELF

We all know that, "An ounce of prevention is worth...." Yes, I am sure you finished the quote easily.

Yet, most of us can't even go for the ounce. Do you? If yes, feel proud. If not, ask your Self why not? See what you come up with in trying to answer that question. More importantly, try to override your "ounce" avoidance, push past your resistance and go GIRL or BOY, MAN or WOMAN. If not now, when? If not you, who?

Tomorrow I will share my thoughts regarding our self-negligence. I wonder if we can sue ourselves if we are negligent with our SELVES? Could be a class action suit-- a very large class at that!

  1. It is hard to beleive that your take on what people do is "not even give it an ounce" of effort.
    Have no clue what that mind set is, probably never will.

    Are you saying that people go about their busy days or not so busy days and don't check in with themselves? Always have to "check yourself",
    why? perception is distorted if we don't see our selves in the receiving and giving of information in every arena in life. Holding ourselves up, hopefully not too difficult of a task; is essentially pure unadulterated survival. Let those that don't get that move on. I am certain that if by mere chance they find their way to you, all that would turn around, probably at the flip of a dime. Let us that know better, work harder, play harder, reflect and deflect throughout the rest of our lives. Let's say a prayer for those who are stuck, maybe a visit to the panhandle (BP oil spill): a quick look at the animals and mamals struggling to get air and stay alive while covered in cess would put things in perspective.
