HOOKED ON HAPPY: PART XI

Somewhere in cyberspace this blog was lost.

What I said was that I left out a  key mental floss string. That is the Voice of Reassurance.

We all need to talk to ourself to help us through the scary and anxiety provoking parts of our life. We need to be able to say, "I/you will be OK. We will get through this. There is no significant danger. Take it easy and go slow. Take a deep, deep breath and push through your /our fears."

The voice of reassurance is something that needs practice and repetition. You may not have inherited one based upon your upbringing. You can create one based upon your desire to enjoy a happier and more positive outlook. Walk the walk until you can talk the talk of reassuring your SELF!
